Barrister's Reserve® Cool Shaving Soap
- Light, fresh scent reminiscent of your neighborhood barbershop. Please note that, unlike the aftershave, Barrister's Reserve® Cool soap does not contain menthol.
- Absolute hard water tolerance.
- Incredibly creamy, dense lather
- Superlative slickness
- Excellent post-shave feel
Net Wt. 4 oz, Made in the USA
Wet your shaving brush well, then swirl it around the jar for about 25 swirls or until a rich, creamy lather is formed. Continue building the lather by adding water (lots of it) and swirling your brush either on your face or in a lathering bowl. Shave, rinse, and spend your day feeling great.
Note: This soap is very soft and may be easy to overload. If the lather seems thin or glue-like, continue to add water until a dense, creamy lather forms.
Crisp and clean
A very crisp and clean scented soap. I would’ve really liked to have had some menthol added to it but not having it doesn’t take away from the soap at all. An excellent performer.
Cool is a Great Summer Shave Soap
I have really enjoyed Cool, particularly the cooling effect on a hot summer day. It’s lather is just as good as the other Reserve soaps, the scent is crisp and refreshing, but the cooling sensation is what sets this soap apart. It will be my go to summer shave soap.
Great Shave Soap
Very smooth shaved and easy to lather. Great scent that is refreshing but not overwhelming.
Reserve Cool Soap
This stuff is incredible. I received a sample of cool soap and aftershave about a year ago and after finishing I had to buy a full tub of the soap. It pairs extraordinarily with Aqua Velva, Aqua Velva Ice Blue, and other blue aftershaves like Myrsol Blue, or Epsilon Blue Mediterranean (based off of the discontinued icon that was Floid Blue.) If i'm not mistaken this soap is based off of Floid Blue. 10/10.
Excellent slickness and a classic scent
The scent of this soap reminds me of my father. He used aqua type aftershaves often in the 1970s, and I'm transported back to those days whenever I used this soap. The slickness is nearly unmatched, I never worry about weepers on Cool days.
