Barrister's Reserve® Lavender Washable Pomade, 2 oz
Crystal Lake Water Based Pomade is a medium hold, medium shine, water based pomade. Always keeping the hair’s health in mind, each jar is handmade with quality plant-derived ingredients, unlike a lot of water based products on the market which are full of harsh chemicals.
Crystal Lake does not get dry or stiff, allowing you to restyle all day like a traditional oil based pomade. You won’t experience any flaking or a helmet head like most gel type water based pomades. The best part: it washes out with shampoo. Get ready to revive your hair...again and again and again.... Get yours before they're gone!
Net Wt. 2 oz, Made in the USA
smells and works great
I love this pomade. I enjoyed the Fern scent and wanted to try Lavender since I was running low. Love the scent and works great like my first tub!
Great smell great pomade
The pomade is as good as everyone says, holds like an oil based but washes out. The smell is a strong clean lavender scent that smells great. You can smell it on yourself throughout the day but it's not too strong.
B&M Reserve Lavender Pomade
Nearly unusable. Rock solid and so dry that I cannot even get it out of the jar. Stay away!
Barrister and Mann
Hi Jerry! Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with it. Shear Revival, who manufactures the pomade for us, has been able to help people out with similar difficulties in the last. You may have some luck reaching out to them at firstname.lastname@example.org Either way, thanks for trying it out!
Works well, but is a little unwieldy
The pomade smells great, holds well and is resilient enough to withstand water, wind and whatever activity you throw at it. It's a completely competent pomade that will serve you well. However. If your hands are even a little damp when trying to apply the pomade, it won't smear out evenly, it'll just kind of stick to itself--very inconvenient. Also, it doesn't wash out easily and can take a deliberate shampooing and conditioning to get your hair back to normal (a byproduct of it being resilient). All in all, the B&M Lavender pomade is some of the better stuff I've used to style my hair, but there are some key gripes that keep it from being something I'd enthusiastically recommend.
