Floral Heaven
I really enjoyed this scent and I can only describe as floral heaven. I purchased the whole set and I like how the aftershave balm pairs well with the aftershave splash to sooth my dry skin.

Good but a bit of burning
Smells great, and works well. But there's a pretty significant amount of burn when it first goes on my face, which is not what I expect from a balm. Good but not great.

Les Fougère Folies
Where Fougère Royale (2010) is clean and dandyish, Fougère Classique seems to be exploring the more urinous corners of the fougère realm. If the timeline target is 1882, perhaps Classique is the more authentic take. The Barrister and Mann balms may be the most nourishing substances ever to touch skin, so even one with a slightly challenging scent will not be going to waste. 3.49 stars

Slimy baby powder
Does the job, but it smells exactly like baby powder. Great if you want to smell as fresh as a baby’s bottom, not so great if you start thinking it might have talc or some other carcinogen. Apparently, l’eau d’homme of our forbears smelled like baby powder.
Barrister and Mann
Hi John! Oh no. :( I'm sorry to hear that neither of your purchases was for you. I've refunded your order in full. And, for reference, none of our products contain talc in any form. Please let us know if you need anything and have a great day!
