The Scent

Leviathan. The Biblical Serpent who will consume the world come the End of Days. Legend has it that he lives beneath the seas, awaiting his chance to devour all of Creation. Some sailors still speak his name in hushed tones and cross themselves to ward off his ancient, ravenous hunger.

In perfume, there is nothing more darkly ancient than leather. We discovered the formula for an archaic, forgotten Russian leather accord and blended it with notes of sandalwood, coffee, cedar, and musk to create a dark, feral scent well-suited to its namesake. Elemental and at times slightly unsettling, Leviathan is a scent to accompany you to the end of the world.

The Soap

Wet your shaving brush well, then swirl it around the jar for roughly thirty seconds or until a rich, creamy lather is formed. Continue building the lather by adding water and swirling your brush either on your face or in a lathering bowl. Shave, rinse, and spend your day feeling great.

Performs as you’d expect an omnibus soap to, smells ok off the puck but paired with the after balm it’s perfection.

Great Shaving Soap

I have been really enjoying this brand. First, the quality of the soap and customer service is excellent. It then is all about the scent, which is what brought me to B&M. That is just a personal choice and for me this scent was not a match like the other scents I love.

Scent

My first purchase with B+M and I have to say that its super easy to get the lather your looking for doesn’t matter if you have hard water or not. Absolutely love how strong scented the soaps are. The post shave feel is the best in the business hands down. I also got the matching balm and I have to say that I love the smell of the balm but it seems so much different than the soap which I’m not the biggest fan of. The balm has a huge coffee scent and the soap I don’t smell any coffee at all but the scent is such a very subjective opinion anyway. Will I purchase this scent again the answer is no but that’s just because of the scent it has nothing to do with the performance of it. That’s the chance you take when your not able to smell them first. Yes I could purchase the samples but if you do like them then you order a full tub and pay shipping twice so it’s just a shot in the dark. No big deal but i will purchase from here again just not this scent. Simply put this is the Country Club of shave soaps (cold water shaver). Still gets 5 stars and don’t even like the scent that’s how good this stuff is.

Fantastic performance and scent

Leviathan is now my 2nd favorite B&M soap, right behind Cologne Russe. Performance was excellent as always and the scent is amazing. Thanks for another fantastic product Will.
