Leviathan Eau de Toilette, 30 ml
Leviathan is a seasonal scent for Autumn and will be discontinued on December 31st.
Leviathan. The Biblical Serpent who will consume the world come the End of Days. Legend has it that he lives beneath the seas, awaiting his chance to devour all of Creation. Some sailors still speak his name in hushed tones and cross themselves to ward off his ancient, ravenous hunger.
In perfume, there is nothing more darkly ancient than leather. We discovered the formula for an archaic, forgotten Russian leather accord and blended it with notes of sandalwood, coffee, cedar, and musk to create a dark, feral scent well-suited to its namesake. Elemental and at times slightly unsettling, Leviathan is a scent to accompany you to the end of the world.
30 ml. Expected Wear Time: 6 hours
Maybe it's just me but it smells a bit more musky than the soap. Not bad, but is a strong scent and sometimes when I'm chillaxin and get a whiff of it, it can be a bit much. Smells good though. Wasnt expecting a bit of a tobacco smell to it. Coffee scent comes out later on. The nozzle sprayer came defective but got 2 free replacements so no biggie there.
Very distinct aroma
This is a very unique scent. You can definitely smell separately the coffee, sandlewood and leather. This scent is not for me unfortunately but my friend loves it.
Wonderful ! This is my absolute favorite scent! Performance is great per usual! But the smell I love!
Coffee, sandalwood, and, coffee
This was my first purchase from B&M. I liked the sound of this fragrance for a cold night's wearing; leather mixed with sandalwood, coffee, cedar, and musk. What I get mostly is bitter coffee grounds, some sandalwood, and not much else. That's not a bad thing--the fragrance is warm and spicy, and it is in fact great on a cold day. I was hoping for a smoother, more rounded mix with some of the other notes; in particular, more of the leather might take the sharp edge off the coffee, or perhaps the musk (though I don't get any musk here). For my taste the sandalwood (and maybe the cedar) is a bit too much like the coffee itself--sharp, dry, acrid--and so doesn't add much depth to the fragrance. I'll keep wearing it and expect that I'll grow to like it more, and I also expect to try another B&M fragrance in the future. But for now, we're just friends, nothing more.
