A veces no hay nada tan reconfortante como un buen jabón en barra a la antigua. Customers praised this hand & body soap for its quality and "phenomenal" scent. The soap "lathers well without drying" skin and has a "wonderful, complex" earthy fragrance. Most found the scent strong enough to fill a room, though one customer noted it was "extremely subtle (weak)" compared to other products in the line.

I bought the bath soap in this fragrance as I couldn't find the shaving soap at any of my usual sites. This is a wonderful, complex scent - very earthy and a delight to the nose. I can't wait to get my hands on the shaving soap.

This soap exceeds expectations.

This hand and body soap is excellent. The base is rich, creamy and lathers well without drying my skin. Layered into that comforting performance is the second to none Fougère Gothique scent. It’s a juxtaposition. Luscious creamy lather with a not to be overlooked mysteriously green, smoked and ashy scent notes. I was hooked by the Fougère Gothique shave soap and aftershave. The body soap is a pleasant addition to my routine. Top marks.

This soap is no slouch when it comes to scent. By simply leaving it open to air in my bathroom, the entire room smells like Fougere Gothique—for days on end. I love it

Nice soap. Subtle scent.

Nice soap, lathers well, etc. However, that wonderful Fougère Gothique scent is extremely subtle (weak) on this product. I prefer its bolder presence in the shaving soap and splash.
