I've reviewed this balm before. It's awesome. It leaves my skin feeling nourished and moisturized for hours afterwards. You can feel it's soothing effect and after using this for several months I swear my skin feels more toned too.
But the ace is the nozzle. Their new nozzle design is just amazing. It doesn't clog. It squirts a little balm so you can control your amount better. And now it has a plastic cap that makes it perfect for travel too. This was a 10/10 product before and it just got better
I should have bought multiple bottles of this while it was in-stock. As a balm: 10/10 (and I don't give that easily; just to one other, unscented Neutrogena Hydroboost). As a scent: 10/10. This nails the carnation/lavender mix I remember from my long-since passed dad. Much more accurate to the Shulton version than the currently-sold Old Spice formulation.

That wonderful smell of old spice I remember as a child, but this, even in balm form, lasts far longer.
Smells good and seems to moisturize well.
The aftershave balms from Barrister and Mann are soothing and moisturizing after bringing the cold steel to your face (shaving). I have never had the chance to smell what Old Spice smelled like when my father or grandfather may have wore it, but this what I picture when I think of vintage Old Spice. You will smell great for many hours after applying and you will have no greasy feeling where applied. As ALWAYS, Barrister and Mann has the BEST men’s grooming products. Period.
I don’t mind it. I prefer the soap’s smell. This is very much a “spicier” smell.
I would say if the soap is a bit too soft of a scent for you, this would be right up your alley. I find it just a shade too aggressive, but I absolutely find it wearable. And it’s a wonderful moisturizer as all the others are.

Absolutely wonderful. Cuts down shave irritation and adds an excellent scent that isn’t going to induce a sneezing fit like cheeper items would.
I won't extoll BM's balm. Its just really good. It makes your skin feel soft and hydrated and smooth for hours after the shave. With the spice, its also a really good balm. It pairs excellently with their own aftershave, or as an add on to Old Spice if you're looking for both scent and the healing and conditioning that splashes won't provide.
Another great balm! Nourishing while being very light and absorbent, a very small amount goes a long way. The scent lasts a while and is soft enough to remain in the background.
