Originally developed for our Fougère Gothique EdP, our sandalwood accord was released as part of our Soft Heart series over a year ago to considerable acclaim. In fact, quite a few among our sandalwood-loving customers wrote in to claim that it's the single most natural-smelling sandalwood shaving soap that they've ever encountered.

Guys, you're making us blush.

In that vein, we've decided to re-release our Sandalwood soap in full and finished form, completed with aftershave balm and splash to keep the woody goodness going for hours. Creamy, rich, and astonishingly realistic, we're extremely proud of our latest offering and we know all you sandalwood people will love it too!

Net Wt. 4 oz, Made in the USA

Wet your shaving brush well, then swirl it around the jar for roughly thirty seconds or until a rich, creamy lather is formed. Continue building the lather by adding water and swirling your brush either on your face or in a lathering bowl. Shave, rinse, and spend your day feeling great.

Amazing masculine scent my fiancé loves

I’ve always liked the smell of fresh cut wood, and sandalwood has a distinct manly scent I’ve always liked. This soap does the trick for me, and my fiancé really likes it, too!

Sandalwood limited edition

Scent is amazing, but the soap is way soft. Possible to work up a lather, but the softness requires a lot more work. I’ve noticed similar reviews of other current products. Maybe a production issue?

Hi Billy! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the soap consistency. It's not a production issue, but is instead caused by the high concentration of heavy-molecular-weight materials used in our sandalwood accord (the same thing can happen with high levels of citrus terpene and some other materials). Unfortunately, the stuff seems to have rendered some jars very soft, as you've discovered. I recommend a synthetic brush and gentle loading practices, but, if you'd be so kind as to email us with proof of purchase, I'd be happy to issue you a credit for the jar. Thank you!

Unfortunate Off Batch

The performance and scent of omnibus sandalwood are good. However, the soap was a failed batch, where the hydroxyethylcellulose did not hydrate and blend properly, resulting in separation and clumps in the soap that would loiter in knots. I’d love to have kept it, and used it, however I disposed of it because I don’t want these clumps loitering in my knots.

Simple Sandalwood

Great simple woody sandalwood. Love it. The soap came to me softer than I expected and smeared a little bit during loading- only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Should have cured longer before shipping.

Hi Andrew! The softness is actually a result of the fragrance materials and is not related to the curing time. The soap was cured for several weeks before we released it to the public.
