The Four Horsemen: Death Shaving Soap
"Pale Death beats equally at the poor man's gate and at the palaces of kings." -Horace
The final horseman. The pale rider. The end of all things. Death. A certainty with which we must all cope, The Four Horsemen: Death forms the base structure for all four fragrances in the set. We built something elemental and mossy, powdery and vibrant, ancient and implacable to represent the greatest and most terrible of the Riders. A classical chypre structure constructed from the core accord of bergamot, labdanum, oakmoss, and patchouli, we clothed the skeleton in flesh of clary sage, rose, vetiver, amber, and bay to give solidity and power to The Great Cosmic Certainty. Everything that has a beginning has an end. And the end is coming for us all.

I have zero complaints about this soap, it lathers easily, provides a comfortable shave, and has a very refreshing (mid level) scent. Can't wait to try more.
Death is inevitable
Death is inevitable, and so is an awesome shave when you use this product. Great stuff!
So I purchased two of the four series, War and Death. Super happy with both of course! Death however is my favourite of the two, along with my girlfriend’s.
If you like Hallows
Close enough to Hallows in my mind to not make me upset for the lack of it this fall. Do I like Hallows more? Yes but this one fits the bill as well.
Very nice barbershop-y scent with a slightly spicy and subtle powdery dry down.
The scent is very approachable and makes this one of the 3 standouts in the Four Horsemen set. It gives off a barbershop scent vibe but unlike any barbershop I can compare it to. It's a rather nice blend and one of my favorites of the set. The soap is top-notch quality. Can't say anything bad about the Omnibus soap base. Slick, protective and easy to lather!
