Barrister's Reserve® Spice Shaving Soap
- Rich, spicy scent that never goes out of style.
- Absolute hard water tolerance.
- Incredibly creamy, dense lather
- Superlative slickness
- Excellent post-shave feel
Net Wt. 4 oz, Made in the USA
Wet your shaving brush well, then swirl it around the jar for about 25 swirls or until a rich, creamy lather is formed. Continue building the lather by adding water (lots of it) and swirling your brush either on your face or in a lathering bowl. Shave, rinse, and spend your day feeling great.
Note: This soap is very soft and may be easy to overload. If the lather seems thin or glue-like, continue to add water until a dense, creamy lather forms.
This soap is amazing. The lather performance is top notch and what you would expect from Barrister and Mann soaps. The sent is that old school spice and powdery combination that legends are made of.
So far these are all great
This reminds me of the “old” old spice, before it became just another cheap aftershave. The soap and aftershave are just wonderful! My favorite in the Reserve line up. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.
My Favorite Scent So Far
The reserve base is outstanding. Its hard-water tolerance is unmatched and lathers wonderfully. Of all the reserve scents, Spice is my favorite. B&M should definitely make a cologne out of it.
The Spice, is Nice...
I don’t even think I’d be shaving or wearing fragrances if it weren’t for the memory of the glass bottle of Old Spice on my dad’s dresser. For me as an 8 yr old this scent emobidied manliness and adulthood. I would sneak this scent behind my ears before going to Sunday church because I wanted to smell my best for God! Now, I’m an atheist, agnostic at best, but still ... Old Spice has held it’s power over me and I absolutely LOVE the respect that B&M has given these scent notes and given me a nostalgic dip into boyhood memories that photos will never provide. Maybe OS has become old fashioned, or tried, or tired, or whatever, B&M Reserve Spice is not going to be out of stock in my den. Ever.
