Cheshire Shaving Soap
Arguably one of the most famous blends of tea in the world, Earl Grey is believed to be named after Charles, the Second Earl Grey, and was first produced by Charlton & Co. of Jermyn St. in London around 1880. The tea is traditionally flavored with bergamot, a peppery relative of orange from Italy. Its distinctive scent had never been re-created in shaving soap until Barrister and Mann® decided to give it a go.
We blend American clary sage, bergamot, and small amounts of lavender and patchouli to create a very realistic interpretation of the smell of Earl Grey (the tea, not the man). It's our founder's favorite, and we think you'll love it too!

Excellent scent, excellent performance
B&M has built quite a stellar reputation with its unique scents and top shelf performance. Cheshire is a lovely scent, and the product just got even better with its Glissant base treatment and classy new packaging.
Exceptional performance as with all B&M soaps, but the Cheshire scent is my favorite. I use it year round, but it is absolutely perfect in Autumn.
Excellent cushion and lather. Amazing glide. The scent is a bit spicy but subdued aka won’t follow you around all day. This was my first B&M purchase and I am sold.
Favorite Shave Soap
Simply put: Cheshire is my favorite B&M shave soap for every reason you can think of. Thanks, Will, for such a fantastic shave soap. I can't wait to add the aftershave to the lineup and experience.
Super calming scent!
This scent has probably been one of the most calming scents I’ve used while shaving and the lather was incredible!
