Barrister's Reserve® Lavender Shaving Soap
- Elegant, smooth lavender unlike anything you've smelled before.
- Absolute hard water tolerance.
- Incredibly creamy, dense lather
- Superlative slickness
- Excellent post-shave feel
Net Wt. 4 oz, Made in the USA
Wet your shaving brush well, then swirl it around the jar for about 25 swirls or until a rich, creamy lather is formed. Continue building the lather by adding water (lots of it) and swirling your brush either on your face or in a lathering bowl. Shave, rinse, and spend your day feeling great.
Note: This soap is very soft and may be easy to overload. If the lather seems thin or glue-like, continue to add water until a dense, creamy lather forms.
The Reference Lavender
There are a LOT of lavenders out there... But nothing comes close to the gentle, yet powerful Caldey Island lavender featured here, in of course - the excellent Reserve base(s).
Soap has a great lavender scent. It's not a artificial, chemical smell that most lavender soaps have. The soap base itself is incredible, super slick and lathers easily.
Lavender has always been a favorite scent. B&M is the one that meets my perception of a great lavender scent. All the B&M soaps perform flawlessly, it is just a matter of scent preference within all the offerings.
awesome beast of a lavender
awesome beast of a lavender scent. can't go wrong with barrister and mann!
The Best Around
I feel a little weird committing this to writing, but here it goes. I absolutely love the smell of this soap, maybe too much. It's gotten to the point where some days when I don't shave I'll cover my face and head in lather and rinse it off just so I can smell the soap. After I use it, the smell isn't constantly in my face, but a gentle breeze will pass and I'll notice the scent again and it just makes me happy. It doesn't hurt that I think Barrister & Mann is a great company and the lather itself is top notch for shaving; but that scent...
