Arguably one of the most famous blends of tea in the world, Earl Grey is believed to be named after Charles, the Second Earl Grey, and was first produced by Charlton & Co. of Jermyn St. in London around 1880. The tea is traditionally flavored with bergamot, a peppery relative of orange from Italy. Its distinctive scent had never been re-created in shaving soap until Barrister and Mann® decided to give it a go.

We blend American clary sage, bergamot, and small amounts of lavender and patchouli to create a very realistic interpretation of the smell of Earl Grey (the tea, not the man). It's our founder's favorite, and we think you'll love it too!

People have been asking us for ages why we don’t make an aftershave balm and, the truth is, we just hadn’t been able to come up with something that we really liked. Over the years, we’ve tried bunches of different formulas, refining the design over and over to produce something truly special: a balm that’s light, non-greasy, moisturizing, and very soothing.

After an unbelievable number of trials, Barrister and Mann® is proud to present our finished aftershave balm formula! Enriched with jojoba oil, kokum butter, hyaluronic acid, radish oil, allantoin, and a suite of botanicals to leave your skin feeling great, this balm is light and nourishing and will leave your skin feeling calm, soft, and supple all day long.

Offered in a low-waste, travel-friendly jar to help you get the most out of your purchase. No messy pumps or leftover product; just awesome skin-soothing goodness.

Fantastic!

Talk about a soothing scent! A bergamot heavy earl grey eight here. Smells fresh and completely calming. I hope this one will always be available. Not to mention that these aftershave balms are easily the best I have tried. Moisturizing, soothing and never greasy. Love it.

Beautiful tea scent on this balm with top-grade ingredients.

Wonderful tea scent. It's just like Earl Grey tea but there's other notes like jasmine and patchouli to make it wearable. A quick favorite. Balm has top-grade skin healthy ingredients that will have you feeling your face all day long. The balm absorbs quickly and dries down to a matte-like softness.

Caution! Barrister and Mann balms are addictive!

I've said so many good things about Barrister and Mann's shaving soap and aftershaves that I don't know what else to say. This is a surprisingly caressing balm with a fragrance that I inhale for a long time after shaving and my wife enjoys it in the bathroom after me (and she doesn't even want to come out of there) Caution! Barrister and Mann balms are addictive!
