Our upgraded and improved alcohol-free aftershave balm is a glorious treat for the skin. Enriched with super-moisturizing kokum and cupaçu butters, hydrolyzed oat protein, and nourishing daikon seed oil, this soothing, moisturizing emulsion will calm irritation and redness and leave your skin feeling moisturized for hours on end.

Intense and Bold

I will say this, it’s a strong distinct smell. I do think that the actual balm is well done and it makes my face very smooth. The smell itself is something that’s acquired. I am for woodsy smells but I think the “ash” smell that’s unique to this balm is what gets me. It’s not bad or anything and I’m not complaining. But I would go in knowing that it is strong, bold, and intense. I took a star off because I don’t think I’d purchase again knowing that the smell is so intense. I love Barrister and Mann, I will continue buying there soaps, and balms but I think this is just not for me.

Love the scent

Love the scent, but I think I’m a Splash guy rather than a Balm guy, at least in the Summer. If you like Balms, this is a great one.

I feel like I catch whiffs of this just walking outside after a hot rain and the temp drops, this is SO evocative. This smells incredible and is a tenfold scent with a journey and an aftertaste, but it is definitely not for everyone. It is almost creepy with the cold, silky ash notes. I feel like an eldritch being from the forest when I wear it.
