An eerily smooth, smoky fougère with a distinctly “ashy” character and the dark cast of some ancient atrocity. Timelessly elegant and refined, Fougère Gothique is a fragrance for someone accustomed to the fruits of all-encompassing power. This rich, elemental scent features notes of black ashes, bergamot, lavender, cedar, sandalwood, geranium, leather, tuberose, burning wood, mushroom, oakmoss, tonka bean, vetiver, musk, and balsam fir absolute.

Such a unique scent! To this day, I still can’t pinpoint the scent, but I love it! Like other B&M splashes, it’s by far the most liked by my skin when compared to other artisan brands. Second to none!

Smells like a morning dew forest with a smoldering camp fire in the distance. A lot going on with this after shave. I guess this is what happens when the Devil pops up in a forest.
I hadn't heard of this scent until the email stating that it was being brought back and put in the regular lineup. I thought it sounded interesting and have it a shot. It was definitely interesting and after using it that first week became one of my favorites and is in my regular rotation

Lot's of people say "You smell incredible" but it takes a certain type. Some folks say "Smells like wet grass" (spousal unit) Either way, you'll get noticed.

Very bad bottle design! I don't want dancing demons on my counter or anywhere near me. I cut out the label & rubbed off the residual adhesive. Probably won't buy again unless they change the graphics to something respectable

This scent is something special. While almost all of the B&M scents are great, there are a few that truly stand out among the rest. This is one of the best. Manly, complex, dark. Perfect.

I put this on and was immediately transported to memories of a deep Michigan forest in October, bow in hand, stalking a deer on an afternoon following a day of rain. Earthy, mossy, woody, sweetly vegetal,... a wonderful scent!
