Not bad, not amazing.
I was expecting amazing things after all the reviews I have read. I was left a little disappointed and glad I only bought a sampler. It smells similar to the B&M petrichor scent but better. Very mossy, green, earthy. I feel like changing my name to Radagast and hanging out with the woodland creatures. One tiny spray is enough to last all day. It’s pleasing once it dies down a bit but it’s not knock your socks off great. Definitely worth the $10 for a sampler. I wouldn’t spend $90 on the full size.

Fougere Gothique - Omnibus Base; Fougere Gothique EDP
The omnibus base was extremely slick and made for a very pleasant lather. A little went a long way. The scent profile developed before my minds eye throughout the shave. I was transported back to a section hike on the Appalachian Trail. Wet undergrowth first hits you. The scent of mushrooms fades to the back allowing a mixture of floral scents to be picked up beneath a thin blanket of lingering smoke. If you are a whiskey drinker, you may be familiar with the smell of petrichor. I am thoroughly impressed.

Gothique Gourmand Niche
If I could give this more stars I would. It smells like truffles freshly picked, still covered in a little bit of earthy soil. Like mushrooms marinating before being cooked to pair with steak. A lovely bit of darkness to wear when I want something more gourmand than Encre Noire. Sure, it's not cheap but two sprays lasted more than 24 hours. This stuff is going to last a long time because you don't need to put on that much for a wearing. Treat yourself. It's amazing!

Great Smelling Scent
I would definitely recommend the scent. I'm not used to purchasing more expensive colognes (Eau de Parfum, I suppose) so I went with the sample first. My girlfriend and I ended up liking the scent so I ended up purchasing the larger bottle. If your on the fence I would say try the sample bottle first.

Earthy, petrichor/soil with some subtle florals/sweetness
I picked up a sample of this, and haven't had a chance to sample enough times for a full impression, but first take is that it is enjoyable and out of the ordinary scent. Definitely stands out from many popular men's fragrance style. There is an earthy, wet, soil note that is really nice and very similar to the B&M petrichor line of products. If you like that, or just out of the ordinary earthy, complex aromas definitely try to get your nose on this. From just one spray, it projects well and has 8+ hour longevity which is impressive.
