An eerily smooth, smoky fougère with a distinctly “ashy” character and the dark cast of some ancient atrocity. Timelessly elegant and refined, Fougère Gothique is a fragrance for someone accustomed to the fruits of all-encompassing power.

Unique earth scent with extra.

Earthy goodness wafts from this scent with a almost a sweet vanilla or barbershop secondary scent after dry down.A great fall scent that you will either like it or dont like it.Unique in all aspects .

This is a new favorite

This is a new favorite. I love the smell of this as the day wears on. I'm not good at describing fragrances but this has a nice fire ash smell to it which is nice and muted, but definitely there. Additionally, it has some of the same notes as Muir(e) Woods, but those fade quickly leaving behind the aforementioned ash notes. It is a very well rounded set of fragrance notes that all work well together to create a masterpiece. I will often pair this with Muir(e) Woods shave soap and splash. It is a great combo.

Interesting

At first I thought this one smelled familiar. Like something a relative might have worn back when I was a kid, and maybe it's true.
To me that's a good thing. I like nostalgia in fragrances.
This is definitely something from the past, combined with a little something new, in my opinion.
The longer I wore it, the more I enjoyed it.
It's not a freshie, a party boy fragrance, or a "panty dropper".
So what?
It's art.
