Hand & Body Soap: The Full Measure of Man

Haven't used it yet, but it smells great! Did not specify what units are being used to fully measure though.

Love this soap for both lather and consistency. I wish this fragrance was available in other products, too.

This is probably my favorite scent so far. It's a complex scent that I can't get enough of. I was disappointed when it went out of stock and plan to get some when they restock.

Great lather and a better smell, the wife really enjoys it. Buy it, use it, you will be happy.

Love this scent!

I purchased the 1lb bag of irregular soap because it was all they had left.Im glad because this scent is going in my rotation.I can smell tobacco ,rose,sandalwood and something earthy.The tobacco scent is not the ordinary perfumey type scent.Its more along the lines of that scent you get when you open that new pack of cigs but also an earthy aroma along with it.Almost like the smell of cured tobacco hanging in the barn but feintly .I like it and now im on the hunt for the splash and shave soap.What a spectacular and complex fall scent this will be.

You need to bring this back as everything! I mean EVERYTHING! It’s masculine, but not in-your-face overpowering! It is subtle (imagine this with a British accent), yet distinguished.

A really good tobacco scent. A bit sweet. But better than most 5x the price. Will be missed.

I always have a problem with dry skin after bathing. This soap eliminated that issue. My skin feels moisturized and my wife loves the aroma. It most definitely won't be a my last time making this purchase.

Bought this because of the mixed maple syrup / too sweet reviews. Didn't want to spend the money to get something that didn't appeal to me. There are some shave soaps / aftershaves I've bought from B & M that didn't appeal to me (scent wise). Especially after sitting on my skin for a bit. Didn't like Leviathan. Initially didn't like Fougère Gothique, but it has grown on me. I do have to use it very very sparingly.

Love this scent. At least on the bar soap version. So much so I'm getting the other products. Didn't think it was too sweet or that it makes me smell like a waffle. To me it smells very similar to a Drew Estate Maduro Java cigar, which is a good thing.

This is my second time purchasing B&M soaps. They have the perfect pH, and leave my hands and face refreshed and happy leaving a cozy scent behind

This scent is definitely a tough one to describe so first I will say just how good it makes your skin feel just like all the B&M soaps. The scent is definitely tobacco and mousse de Saxe forward but not overwhelming which I like. Woods play in the background as well. The scent stays on the skin for a little while after a bath but not too long which is good for me seeing as I want to wear a cologne. I would recommend if this sounds like something you would enjoy.

Very deep scent with complexity to it.

This soap smells great and smell seems to last also. Shipping was good but a little pricey.

B&M was kind enough to send me a sample of this with one of my orders, and I could not be more pleased with it. It's currently my favorite soap. Unfortunately the scent doesn't linger for long, but that's ok. Cleans well and makes me look forward to hopping in the shower.

This is a great soap, leaves me feeling very clean and the scent lasts for a little while after getting out of the shower. The wood and tobacco compliment each other very nicely.

I love this scent. I use the shave soap, aftershave splash, shave balm, and bath soap. The bath soap smells great and really nourishes my skin. Barrister and Mann bath soap lasts longer for me than other bath soaps.

I was really curious about this scent, and figured I'd either love it, or...not. It was a fragrant bar of "not."

Positives: First time ordering from Barrister and Mann. Their shipping and tracking is outstanding. Their packaging is GREAT. The soap lathers and cleans really well.

Negatives: The scent.* I think there's just too much going on here (like I said, I figured I'd love it or...not). The cured tobacco, sandalwood, Mousse de Saxe, citrus, vanilla, resins, myrrh, and geranium just produced an olfactory fight club that I didn't enjoy. One of the most bothersome things to me is that this was described as masculine, and I cannot agree with that at alllll. A deep whiff of this, and I'm transported to a garden where a grandmother is tending a huge plot of geraniums. And shes wearing the same denim shirt with the same brand of cigarettes in the pocket that shes been buying for years. Every now and then, you smell the leather from the saddle that she hasn't used in 20 years but won't sell, and just sits in her shed. Overall, not a smell I liked.

*Look, scent is highly subjective. Clearly, other people liked it, and I knew I was taking a risk with this sort of scent combo. My experience on the whole was great. Just to be clear: this particular scent = boo. The company, and the product = great.

This soap is fantastic. It lathers up really well and the scent lasts for hours. The scent is beautifully manages to be masculine without being overbearing. I have yet to be disappointed with any scent from Barrister and Mann. Full Measure of a Man is one of my top scents, especially with the soap. My only regret is not buying more bars!
