I am a lavender-lover, and when I saw B&M had a lavender EdP I definitely wanted to try it. Lavender Interrupted is a very smooth, sexy fragrance. There are many scent notes in the description; of these, I could detect (in order of strength) vanilla, tobacco, plum, hay, sandalwood, maybe a touch of civet, and amber. I had a tough time finding the lavender and was expecting more lavender-forward tones. Although described as unisex, I'd say this leans a little more masculine; definitely a "dark" soft fragrance, which leaves a whiff of powder on clothes the next day but not much else. I enjoy this one but it won't become my go-to lavender fragrance just because my nose doesn't really find the lavender more strongly than a suggestion.
This is a stunning fragrance. I look for excuses to wear it, but it is definitely a date night scent. I missed the first run of bottles, so I ordered a second sample. Really, Will knocked it out of the park with this one. This is something really special.
It’s complex with beautiful notes of lavender, cedar, and vanilla, but there is so much more going on here. It’s somewhat floral and sweet, yet at the same time dark and masculine. It’s perfectly balanced and the scent notes play off one another like the instruments in your favorite song. This is a truly exceptional scent.

This is, far and away, the best perfume in my cupboard. Its amazing how complex and layered it is. When I read the scent notes I thought it must be too much. Too confusing. Too many different scents. But nope. They complement each other perfectly. You get an amazingly complex fragrance that evolves amazingly over time. It evokes something slightly dark, slightly spicy, but also something nostalgic. It makes me feel as if I'm in transitioning from a wonderful field to a museum filled with memories and then finally to somewhere familiar but comfortable, wherever it might be. This really is my top scent and it takes a fair bit of willpower to make sure I use it sparingly and for special occasions.

Not liking heavy, smoky, resinous scents. This scent is all three. And I L-O-V-E it. In terms of smell think of it as a Fougere with dark and sweet notes. I initially ordered the sample but will have to order the full size.
It’s the best fragrance in the world
Seeing the listed fragrance notes, I was intrigued most by the Mousse de sax note (especially after reading the blog post) and opted to blind buy a full-sized bottle. And...wowser! Definitely not hating that decision. This EDP comes out of the bottle roaring loudly. A blast of incense, leather, patchouli, and woody notes hit my nose immediately. As it settles, the lavender and geranium peek out along with the cinnamon and sweetness from the plum. Leather, tobacco, smoke, spiced vanilla...and the lavender weave in and out for the remainder of the dry down. On me, this scent is near eternal with my 1 - 2 sprays. I could smell it on my skin for a good 12+ hours. Such a great scent for my first purchase from B&M. Next, shaving soaps. :)
I'm not a big cologne guy, I usually just let my aftershave be my fragrance for the day, but after using Lavanille this sounded like that taken to the next level. I went back and forth about it but eventually ordered the sample size because although it sounded good it also sounded like there might be a bit too much going on. I only wish I'd caved sooner, it's fantastic. Even better is that my wife likes it just as much as I do, if not more, and has decided that she's getting me the full sized bottle
It smells pretty good. I feel like the incense note comes through more than anything else, and I don't even pick up a hint of lavender.

I like that the complexity of the product as well as how long it lasts.
With so many scents in the notes breakdown you would think the lavender would get lost in the mix, but it's there and it's beautiful. It's a gorgeous scent and Will at B&M has outdone himself. It's hard to describe all the notes because the scent evolves as it dries down. I can make out some of the more sour and musky notes that make up the base and I can see some being turned off by them but it's so well-blended and did not turn me off. Highly recommend this original fragrance!
It's in the title, everyone regardless of gender says I smell great. I'm surprised it's only seasonal given how awesomely musky it is (but not funky).
While more expensive than some other B&M colognes, it is well worth the money. Strong at first, but relaxes to more subtle scent. Recommended.
This scent is pretty nice - smells subtly sweet with lots of layers to it. Nothing obnoxious!
Quite possibly the best fragrance I've ever smelled.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the 152 scent notes listed in the description but, Wow! This one is a winner! As soon as I sprayed it on me I had to fight the strong urge to buy a few more bottles. Please never stop making this one. It’s amazing. It is a date night type of fragrance that is well suited for cool weather but I’m going to wear it as much as possible. Lavender Interrupted is intoxicating and delicious, I love it!
This is such a wonderful, rich scent. So complex and sweet at the same time. The smelling nots are very accurate. Well worth the buy!
I just used it again before writing this review. I simply don’t have the language to describe it. I smell no vanilla. I don’t smell lavender. It’s woody, smoky, spicy, dusky, incensey, dark, enveloping, immersive, intoxicating. It’s strong, almost pungent. I can’t pinpoint what I’m smelling. I don’t know how people receive it but I don’t care because I enjoy it too much. For comparison, I enjoy musky incense spicy smells like tobacco, pepper. I love this.

It's hard for me to describe this scent in words, but it smells amazing and it settles in quite nicely while also lasting a long time. I was only able to snag the 2ml sample vial, but I will definitely be purchasing the full sized bottle if it becomes available again because this has become my new favorite B&M scent.
This has quickly become one of be favorite frags. Starts off smoky and a little woody but it dries down to a very sensual vanilla and Lavender with still hints of smokiness and patchouli and spicy. It's very well rounded and my wife and I both love it. Projection is excellent and it lasts for a long time.
This scent is DARK in nature and is something I’ll wear on date nights or special occasions only. There’s so much going on here it’s hard to put my finger on it but I’d give it a 10/10 easy!
I was really hoping for more of the lavender to be present based upon Will's blog about the development. It is a good masculine vanilla scent, but I don't really smell any of the lavender accord Will created and how much I liked the lavender bath soap.
