Zesty and refreshing, yet surprisingly delicate, Kanno is an homage to Yoko Kanno, who almost single-handedly dragged Western jazz and blues into the world of Japanese anime with her remarkable work for the series Cowboy Bebop. With notes of effervescently warm shiso leaf (a relative of mint that features heavily in Japanese cuisine), grapefruit, pink pepper, and geranium, Kanno is a spectacular twist on the classic Eau de Cologne structure, and, of all of the fragrances exhibited at the Maggard Razors Meetup in April 2026, rated highest by those who smelled it blind. One of the most special works we have ever released.

Kanno was authored by perfumer Cecile Hua.

Shake aftershave into your palms (we recommend an amount about the side of a quarter) and rub them together for 3 seconds. Rub your palms over your freshly shaven skin. There may be a mild sting upon initial application, but your face is about to look, feel, and smell awesome. We know you can handle it.

Amazing scent

Amazing scent and great for my ridiculously sensitive skin. I feel the same way about this one that I did with Seville. Unique heavenly scent that is more on the bright side that I could easily wear everyday. Will definitely has some deep experience with fragrance design and has become my favorite perfumer in the shaving world.

This is another fantastic product by Will. His aftershave splashes have a slight viscosity to them. This helps a little to go a long way, and it also helps with soothing any irritation and to provide skin conditioning. The scent is everything you expect it to be from reading the description - and that's incredible! The Japanese mint runs through the other scents like a backbone, making for a bright, refreshing, morning scent. Well done.
